2020 Beauty Trends are all about More Color More Sparkle & More Shine

More Color More Sparkle & More Shine

2020 is around the corner, and these revamped classic trends can be seen all over the runway and on major beauty gurus giving us a hint of what's to come in 2020.

Three girls with flawless natural skin

#1 Fresh and Natural Complexion:

2020 is all about fresh and natural skin that appears healthy and dewy from within. The no-makeup-makeup look in terms of complexion is what we saw all over the place last year, and it's carrying over to next year. There is also a bigger push for sustainable and clean beauty. Indie beauty is substantially growing, and Yes! Cannabis is still a big deal.

66% of Americans would try new products from brands they hadn't used before if they were natural compared to 57% of Canadians who took a recent IPSOS survey

#2 Purples Greens and Everything In Between -that gives a POP!

When it comes to eye makeup, 2019 had a good time with red, maroon, deep browns, and burgundy. In 2020, vibrant colors like purples and greens were all the rage, and they work beautifully with the "no makeup" skin. They add just the right amount of color to the eye without looking too clownish. Single eye shadow/ eye makeup looks are also quite in.

 #3 Glitter All The Way:

Glitter was all the rage in 2016, but according to the top makeup artists, this trend is back, and it is here to stay. Whether it is your eyes, lips, or cheeks, you can sport glitter wherever you want and look glamorous instantly. Go light on the lid for a subtler everyday look.

#4 Classic Bold Lips:

"Red lipstick is instant glamour." says the renowned makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury. A bold red lip never goes out of style. 2020 will welcome a crisp, bold red lip in all its glory, and we'll be seeing it everywhere, from runways to social media to streets.

#5 Hair and Blush Go Back to the 80s:

The 80s bold blush look from the top of the cheek bones going all the way up to brow bone, and the toned-down version of high crimped hair is back with a bang ðŸ’¥ðŸ’£ Top fashion models sported this daring look at the runway, giving us major nostalgia.

#6 Overall Well-Being

From mental and sexual health, sleep, menstruation, hormonal balancing, and menopausal issues, women are coming together to support each other like never before- taking any taboos off these issues.

Research on women’s relationships has found that they differ from men’s and can create positive chemical reactions in women’s bodies when the connections are positive and supportive. Women who support their female friends evoke the “tend and befriend” response in their bodies, resulting in the release of oxytocin (“the cuddle hormone”).-Caroline Adams Miller MAPP.
