Welcome Home Broadway
The Museum of Broadway has been in the works for over two decades. It will finally open its doors on November 15th. Entrepreneurs, 4 Tony nominations, and avid Broadway fans with an award-winning agency-Julie Boardman and Diane Nicoletti, founded the museum. They have collaborated with renowned artists, designers, and theatre historians to create an interactive experience highlighting groundbreaking moments in Broadway’s history and showcase over 1,000 costumes, photographs, and memorabilia
The museum features costumes from films such as "The Color Purple" and "Annie', and come with second-hand stories from the screenplays, which you can find on a touch screen. Visitors can also buy souvenirs that look too good to pass up.
Among the immersive experiences, the Museum will feature Cabaret, HAIR, The Lion King, The Phantom of the Opera, The Producers, Show Boat, The Ziegfeld Follies, Oklahoma!, The Wiz, Ain't Misbehavin', Rent, and more will be announced in the future.
"Broadway is our history, Broadway is integral to American culture, to American life. And the history of Broadway is the history of a people. It's the history of a country." Historian Ben West
