Music is My Therapy
SOOOO many studies show the positive effects music has on mental and physical health. Music is proven to manage emotions, thoughts, stressful behavior and alleviate pain.
We use it as an escape. It allows us to express feelings and bond with the words. Words that bring us a sense of comfort, knowing that someone else is feeling what we are. It can calm us after a stressful situation, lower blood pressure and heart rate.
Music can remove negative thoughts and help build self-esteem. It may even make us smarter!
